Grassie moved, second by Mrs. Parker, to recommend that the Board approve the
leave of absence request for Jennifer Cabral, Elementary Teacher for the first
two semester of the 2007-2008 school year.
The motion carried unanimously. Mr.
Connelly moved, second by Mrs. Parker, to recommend to the Finance Committee approval
of the stipend request for Nicole Bandera in the amount of $3,500 (grant
funded) for administration of the Drug Free Grant. The motion carried unanimously. The
Personnel Committee recommends the new Middle School Curriculum Advisor and
the Title 1/Families in Transition School Coordinator job descriptions for first reading
to the School Board. Mrs.
Grassie moved, second by Mrs. Parker, to recommend that the Board approve the
request for teachers within the District to donate twenty sick days on behalf
of C.K. The motion carried
unanimously. Non-Public
Session Mrs. Grassie moved,
second by Mr. Connelly, that the Committee enter non-public session to
discuss matters which, if discussed in public, would likely affect adversely
the reputation of an individual who is not a member of the Rochester School
Board, in accordance with Mrs. Grassie moved,
second by Mr. Connelly, to re-enter public session. On a unanimous vote, the Committee entered
public session at Mrs. Grassie moved,
second by Mr. Connelly, that the Committee enter to non-public session to
discuss matters which, if discussed in public, would likely affect adversely
the reputation of an individual who is not a member of the Rochester School
Board, in accordance with Mrs. Stevens moved,
second by Mrs. Parker, to re-enter public session. On a unanimous vote, the Committee entered
public session at Mrs. Stevens moved,
second by Mrs. Parker, to adjourn. On
a unanimous vote, the Committee adjourned at Audrey
