following grant funded stipend request for Mr. Barry Smith in the amount of $500,
Title IIA Funded, for planning and facilitating a mathematics workshop for
new teachers. The motion
carried unanimously. Mr. Connelly moved, second by Mrs. Stevens, to
recommend that the Board approve the following new position request for an IDEA
funded, 27.5 hour Special Education Personal Aide/Assistant at William Allen
School. The motion carried
unanimously. Mr. Connelly moved, second by Mrs. Stevens,
to recommend that the Board approve a thirty to thirty-five hour Paraprofessional
position to work with the Speech/Language Pathologist at Non-Public
Session Mr.
Connelly moved, second by Mrs. Stevens, that the Committee enter non-public
session to discuss matters which, if discussed in public, would likely affect
adversely the reputation of an individual who is not a member of the
Rochester School Board, in accordance with
Mrs. Stevens
moved, second by Mrs. Grassie, to re-enter public session. On a unanimous vote, the Committee entered
public session at Mr. Connelly moved, second by Mrs. Parker, to recommend
