Mrs. Stevens called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m. with a quorum present.

Mrs. Parker moved, second by Mrs. Grassie, to recommend that the Board approve the following resignations for retirement purposes at the end of the 2007-08 school year:

Mrs. Parker moved, second by Mrs. Grassie, to recommend that the Committee approve the following nominations:

The motion carried unanimously.

Mrs. Grassie moved, second by Mrs. Stevens, to recommend that the Finance Committee forward approval of the following stipend requests: Gwen Guess in the amount of ten percent of her per diem rate to cover Mr. LeClair’s leave of absence. Also, a stipend in the amount of $4,000 to be funded by the McKinney-Vento Grant to Martha Brennan for being the Homeless Grant Liaison. The motion carried unanimously.

Mrs. Stevens moved, second by Mrs. Grassie, to recommend that the Finance Committee forward approval of the increase in hours for the High School Secretary position from 35 hours per week to 37.5 hours per week. The motion carried unanimously.

Mrs. Grassie moved, second by Mrs. Stevens, to recommend that the Finance Committee forward approval of a Special Education Personal Aide for 17.5 hours per week at Chamberlain Street School. The motion carried unanimously.

Mrs. Grassie moved, second by Mrs. Parker, to recommend that the Finance Committee forward approval of an Occupational Therapist position for the District. The motion carried unanimously.

Mrs. Stevens moved, second by Mrs. Grassie, to recommend that the Finance Committee forward approval of a Special Education Personal Aide for 27.5 hours per week at Spaulding High School. The motion carried unanimously.

Mrs. Grassie moved, second by Mrs. Parker, to adjourn. On a unanimous vote, the Committee adjourned at 6:47 p.m.
