The Chair called the meeting to order at 6:45 pm with a quorum present.

Report on Emergency Management Drill – The After Action Report from the Emergency Management Drill held on February 22, 2007 and prepared by consultant Lee Kimball is attached. Mr. Hemingway summarized the exercise and highlighted areas of strength and weaknesses identified during the drill.

RMS Traffic Configuration –Mr. Hemingway described efforts by the City to reconfigure RMS traffic and make improvements to the front of McClelland School. This is all part of a larger effort to improve Brock Street through the Washington Street intersection. A map and description of the work project attached. Mr. Watson inquired about the time frame of the project and its impact on school sessions.

Bus Discipline – Bus discipline reports summarizing incidents from December, January and February is attached. Mr. Hemingway reported that total bus discipline incidents are 37 less than the same time last year.

Other – Bus transportation bids are due April 12th. Three contractors attended the Bidders conference. Mr. DeVito asked about storage capacity on school buses and the opportunity to store large equipment like skis and track gear away from passenger area.

Mr. Watson moved, second by Mrs. Moody, to adjourn at 7:00 pm. The motion passed unanimously.
