helping handsEmployee Volunteer Program

One of the greatest barriers to volunteerism is a lack of time. Most working adults struggle to balance work, family and other commitments. A simple way for employers to support volunteerism among their employees is to provide them with work-release time. By combining a lunch break with 30-40 minutes of work-release time, employees can easily spend an hour a week making a difference in the community. The office of Extended School Programs and Volunteers can assist your company in developing a volunteer program that will work for you. Hannaford and Bernier Insurance are examples of some local businesses who provide their employees with work release time to volunteer with our students.
