Commendations from the Accreditation Team

Mission and Expectations
1. The implementation of the" Spaulding High-Five" catch phrase, which helps promote a clearer awareness of what is expected of students, faculty, and staff.
2. The visibility of the mission statement throughout the school, its publication in student materials its posting on the school web site.
3. The opportunity students have to practice the school's learning expectations through community service opportunities, job shadowing, internships, and the annual career fair.


Curriculum
1. The broad range of learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom into the community.
2. The addition of another K-12 curriculum coordinator.
3. The inclusion of instructional and assessment strategies in the art department curriculum guide.
4. The writing across the curriculum initiative that has significantly improved student scores in the English/language arts section of the New Hampshire Education Improvement and Assessment Program (NNEIAP) tests.
5. The leadership and academic opportunities provided by the Air force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. (AFJROTC)
6. The alignment of curriculum with the state of New Hampshire frameworks.
7. The introduction of "no-charge" release time for faculty collaboration and curriculum initiatives.
8. The opportunity for earning dual credit through post secondary institutions.

Instruction

5. The student support services that are consistent with the school's mission and expectations
6. The career education course, including an information literacy component taught by the media specialist
