Latin Club Meeting: There will be an important end-of-the-year Latin Club meeting right after school Tues. June 15 from 2:20-3:00 in Room 203. Refreshments will be served and next year's officers will be chosen.
Attention Graduating Seniors: Are you interested in coming back next year during winter break for a brief session in which you will share your college experiences with next year’s seniors? If so, please sign up in guidance. Also, all college-bound seniors will need to fill out a FINAL TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORM located in guidance, complete with the college address so that final grades can be sent.
A Reminder About Class Schedules for 2010-2011: Students who are missing any classes or would like to change a class are asked to make an appointment with their guidance counselor as soon as possible. Although counselors will be available during the summer months, it would be best to have your schedule set before the end of the school year. Elective courses fill up fast so don’t wait until August to make changes. All schedules will be final once the school year starts in September.
Helping Adults Support Grieving Teens: A meeting for adults who want to learn how to understand and support grieving teens will be held at The Paul School on Tues. June 15 at 6:30 pm. For further information call Debbie Wilson, Linda Sheff or Sara Newell at The Paul School 522-8891.
Volunteers Needed: On Fri. Aug. 27, Spaulding High School will be hosting an orientation for students new to Rochester. If you are interested in volunteering to help with this event, please sign up in the guidance office. We need students from all grades, clubs, organizations and sports teams.
Driver’s Education: Mrs. Long still has a few spots left for the summer driver's education class which will begin on Wed. June 23. To qualify for this class you must be 16 years old by July 19. You may request information by calling Mrs. Long at 332-0757, Ext. 318 or by writing your name and telephone number on the driver's ed information list in the office.

One-One-Six Club Meeting: The One-One-Six group meets each Wednesday at 2:30 on the triangle. The One-One-Six is a club based on Christian beliefs with the goal of strengthening the Spaulding and Rochester community.
Attention Interact Club: Our meeting room has been moved to the ISS room across from Guidance. The Interact Club is a community service club associated with the Rochester Rotary Club. We meet most Tuesdays at 2:15. New members are always welcome! See Mrs. Hendryx in Guidance for more information.
Student Environment Action Coalition: The Student Environmental Action Coalition is looking for kids who care about what is happening to the environment and how our high school is using resources. Our mission is to find ways to reduce our school’s impact on the Rochester environment and to become one of the green high schools in America. Join us Thursday afternoons in Room 112.
Red Raider Trader Store: The Red Raider Trader Store is open for business by the gym entrance
between A and B Block Tuesday-Friday and all of C Block Monday–Friday. Popcorn, brownies, rice krispie treats, chocolate chip and a triple berry muffin bars and strawberry-oatmeal bars are for sale daily.
Chess Club: Would you like to play chess or learn to play chess? Then come to the SHS chess club. Meetings are held after school on Thursdays and Fridays from 2:15-3:15 in room 211.

A copy of your Immunization record will be available in the Nurse’s office for any senior who would like a copy. You may need the record for college, employment, entering the service, or just to have a copy for yourself. If you would like a copy, please stop by the Nurse’s office any day before 1:30pm.
Summer is a great time to jump start your college process by visiting college campuses over the summer. NHTI in Concord is having open houses on July 14 and August 4. Also, if you apply online prior to June 30, the $20 application fee will be waived. See your guidance counselor for more information.
