Here are some of the things happening throughout the year.......

Peer Mediation

School Street has an active peer mediation program.  Being a mediator is a big responsibility.  Our mediators attend trainings and willingly give up some recess timr to help work out conflicts. They are ready to help fellow students work out their problems, avoid getting into bigger trouble, and work at making friends.

In September, our new set of peer mediators attended a training session at the Rochester Police Department.  They are ready to help students settle conflicts.  Please fill out a mediation form and leave it in the office or the guidance room if you would like to come to mediation.

Spotted Doing Great Work!

Every week we feature outstanding student work on the bulletin board in the main entry.  It is a pleasure to showcase what students are learning in school. Over the year, every student will have a turn to have their work and their photograph displayed!

Guidance Appointments

If you wish to have a visit with me, please ask me, let your teacher know, or leave me a note in my room or my mailbox!  I will work with your teacher to find a good time for us to get together.
