ANIMAL CONTROL AT SCHOOL FACILITIES

Animals are prohibited in school buildings and at school functions on school properties (e.g. at athletic events) except when they are used in conjunction with the curriculum (e.g. for use in biology classes) or as part of an approved demonstration (e.g. an assembly presented by an animal trainer).

An exception to this policy shall be made for working dogs such as seeing eye dogs and police dogs.
