Eligibility for Participation in Activities

Students who desire to participate in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities must meet the current academic eligibility requirements applied to student athletes under School Board Policy IGDJA.  Extra-curricular and co-curricular activities are any activities of an ongoing nature that are not directly related to a course taken for credit at Spaulding High School or Rochester Middle School.  This includes, but is not limited to, student government, service clubs, vocational and other clubs related to curricular programs but not counted as part of the grade calculation, yearbook staff and other publications, and any other programs of similar nature.

This policy is not intended to set academic eligibility standards for participation in single event activities such as dances, student assemblies, service projects, or attendance at athletic events as a spectator.
