PREGNANT AND MARRIED STUDENTS

Marital, maternal or paternal status shall not affect the rights and privileges of students to receive a public education.

Pregnant students shall be permitted to continue in school in all instances when continued attendance has the sanction of the expectant mother's physician. The physician's approval of continued attendance must be in file at the school. The school administration is authorized to make special arrangements for the instruction of pregnant students and to provide an educational program designed to meet their special needs.
