Curriculum Connection

The Mission of the Rochester School Department is to ensure quality educational experiences for all learners. An important step to achieving this mission involves the use of "good educational practices" based upon a solid curriculum. When the New Hampshire Department of Education released Curriculum Frameworks for the four content areas in 1996, Rochester began the task of realigning and reviewing its curricula. The standards outlined in the frameworks define not only what our students need to know, but also emphasizes the application of these standards. |
