Mr. Gibbs is available on Mondays and/or
Fridays during 7th and 8th grade lunches to hand out boxes of
candy and collect. Trippers may only get one box at a time unless
they have a note from parent. Money is accepted for full box
sales only and once a box is opened the whole box is the responsibility
of the student.
Each bar sells for $1.00, and the tripper makes $.50 on each
bar sold. These delicious candy bars make great stocking stuffers,
so make sure your tripper has plenty for sale before Christmas
vacation. It is very important that all money is turned in to
Mr. Gibbs by the deadline, so that he can send fund-raising
totals to Worldstrides by their imposed deadline. Mr. Gibbs
will definitely be available Friday, December 21st, just before
vacation so that your tripper can get the candy they need as
they head home for the holidays. Worldstrides has also made
Christmas gift certificates available for students to hand out
to relatives who may be looking for an easy to give Xmas present.
They can give the certificate for a present and send to Worldstrides
directly for the amount they are contributing toward the trip
for that student. These certificates are also available through
Mr. Gibbs when trippers are doing candy business. Don’t
forget that there is still plenty of time to register for this
April’s trip. Gift certificates could even help a new
tripper to sign up. Packets are still available from Mr. Gibbs.
