  • What’s in it for me?

Most students learn best and remember more when they get hands-on experience working on real life problems. You can gain these hands on technical experiences by participating in CTE programs. In addition, these programs will prepare you for further education or careers with higher skills levels and pay rates than you might otherwise receive. Most of our programs are two years in length, worth two credits per year. In that time, you will learn theory, apply your academic classroom skills, and get relevant practical experience that will look great on job and college applications.

Additional benefits include participation in one of our leadership organizations, such as FBLA, DECA, FFA, FEET, HOSA, FCCLA, or SkillsUS Membership in one of our leadership organizations gives you a leg up on the competition for jobs and college acceptance. Your participation provides the following opportunities: leadership training, competition with your peers from around the country, travel, and scholarships.

  • What about college?

That’s up to you! All of our CTE programs will prepare you for further education, either at a two-year technical college or a four year college/ university. You may also choose to take part in Project Running Start. This program allows you to earn college credit while completing CTE programs.

  • How do I learn more?

Read the program information on this website.  Speak to your parents and guidance counselors about any programs that interest you. Your guidance counselor can arrange a visit to the CTE programs so that you have the opportunity to see it for yourself and determine if it is the right program for you.

    I found a program I am really interested in…how do I apply?

After consulting with your guidance counselor, apply to your desired CTE program via Enrolltrack.
