“I am so proud of all of our members for stepping out of their comfort zone and competing in events”, remarked Leah Taylor, FBLA Advisor and Business Instructor. Some competitions were test based, where students studied for several months. While other students had to present in front of judges to showcase their knowledge about their given topic.
The Chapter was also recognized as an Honor Chapter and received a State Chairperson’s Award for their participation in State projects and other activities. Hannah Stewart, the Chapter's President, also received recognition in Who’s Who in FBLA.
Michele Halligan-Foley, Director of the R.W. Creteau Technology Center said that “Our students were well prepared and ready to exhibit their mastery of Business skills. I was impressed with each of them. The competition was of the highest standard and the scoring rubric was tough. It was a memorable State Leadership Conference.”
