As the halls get waxed and the busses are gassed up, students are eagerly preparing to return to Rochester Schools on September 1st. For many children, late August is a time to buy new school supplies and fresh items as everyone gets geared up for a more normal return to school.
However, some students and families have been experiencing significant hardships and through the partnership with 1st City Cars and Trucks, all students once again have the supplies they need to start the year off equipped for success. Both locations provided a filled backpack for every car sold in August in addition to collecting supply donations from the community. This is 1st City’s 4th year helping out in the Rochester School community and their support is greatly appreciated throughout the Lilac City.
