Dear Parents/Guardians:
This year the Rochester School District is required to administer the College Board SAT School Day with Essay and the New Hampshire Statewide Assessment System (NH SAS) for Science to all grade 11 students. This affects both diploma track students as well as students in the Adult Education/HiSET pathway.
As a parent/guardian, New Hampshire state law permits you to exempt (opt out) your child from participating in any required statewide assessments. If you would like to request an exemption for your child, so that he or she does not have to participate in taking the assessments, please complete the brief opt-out form at the following link: Grade 11 Opt Out Form.
