Student Attendance
Consistent school attendance is critical to student learning and success. Whether absences are excused or unexcused, every absence impacts student achievement!
Please make sure your students arrive on time to school each day and if your student will be absent, please be sure to call (332-2180) or email (wolfert.s@sau54.org) the main office.
School Board Policy JEA is Compulsory Attendance states that children between six and eighteen years of age are required under RSA 193:1 to be enrolled and in attendance at schools or in an approved home education program. The policy can be found by clicking here.
There are measures in place to support student attendance. At 15 unexcused days absent parents will be required to meet with the school team and create an attendance improvement plan. At 25 days absent families will be referred to the SAU for an attendance meeting.
It's important to note that while daily lessons are available to all students on Google Classroom, these lessons are not a substitute for the high quality in person learning that occurs each day in our classrooms.
