McClelland is excited to welcome Tonya Young as a Fourth Grade Teacher!
My name is Tonya Young. I grew up in Canaan, NH. I played Basketball for UVM, and professionally overseas. I have been teaching preschool for 5 years, and been teaching in the public school sector for eight years. This is my first year in Fourth Grade! I have taught First Grade for three years and Sixth Grade Science last year. I love teaching and was so excited to meet your kids and really excited to eventually meet families. I live in Farmington, with my boyfriend Jared, our 2.5 year old son Barett and our two massive dogs Gryffin, and Kehoe. I also coached the Mascoma Girls’ Varsity Basketball team for three years. I received my Masters in Teaching from Saint Michael's College in Vermont. I am super excited to join the McClelland Team!
