We are proud to welcome Katy Keough to Team McClelland!
Katy Keough is a New Hampshire native who graduated from Alton Central School. She began her teaching career as a “Teach for America” teacher in Las Vegas, Nevada. While in Las Vegas she taught multiple grade levels and served as the after school administrator for the 21st CCLC program. Katy also served as The National Director of District Development for the Learning Together Company and has worked with school districts in 28 states to set up intervention programs for at-risk youth. Most recently, Katy has worked within the Rochester School District as an ESOL teacher for students in grades Prek-12 and within the R.W. Creteau Regional Technology Center as the Teacher of Multiple Levels instructor. Her husband, Jay Keough, is also a teacher in Rochester and teaches Criminal Justice at the high school. While her joy for teaching began as a ski instructor in high school on the ski slopes of New Hampshire, her passion for helping children came to light while volunteering at a South African orphanage and as a mentor for children of incarcerated parents in Washington, DC. Katy earned her undergraduate degree from The George Washington University and her Masters Degree from the University of Nevada.
