McClelland School was honored to recognize veterans in our community last Thursday with a school wide assembly.
We were joined by members of the SHS ROTC program who posted the colors. David LaRoque our Student Council President gave Introductory Remarks, Wyatt Macdonald read a Veterans Day poem and our Guests of Honors were recognized as we listened to the Armed Forces Medley. The ceremony concluded with SHS ROTC doing a small presentation, retiring the colors and students giving our guests notes of appreciation for their commitment to our country.
