Today (9-8-23) will be an early release for the Rochester School Department. MS&HS release at 11:15 and Elementary Schools dismiss at 12:15 p.m.

The Rochester School Districts code of conduct consists of BE SAFE, RESPECTFUL and RESPONSIBLE. The first two weeks are spent reviewing these expectations in each area of our school. Mrs. Jerr has visited each classroom to talk about expectations around weapons, possession and distribution of tobacco/illegal substances and bullying. Families are encouraged to talk to their students about what it means to be safe, respectful and responsible at McClelland School.
We had our first school wide evacuation drill today and everyone did great! Listening to adult direction is a key component to student safety. If your student has any concerns after todays drill please reach out to their classroom teacher.
