McClelland Fact Friday:
Amplify CKLA is our core reading program. CKLA is grounded in the science of reading, combining rich, diverse content knowledge in history, science, literature, and the arts with systematic, research-based foundational skills instruction.

We look forward to seeing all Mighty Mac's on our first day of school- Tuesday August 30th! Reminder that doors doors open at 8:15 and dismissal is at 3:00 for all students.

McClelland Fact Friday:
All students at McClelland will be assigned technology to use as a tool for learning each day. Primary students are assigned an iPad and intermediate students are assigned a chromebook.

We invite our McClelland families to join us tomorrow from 9-10 for our final summer series on School Safety.
This session is adult specific in nature. We ask that participants park in the back parking lot and enter through the intermediate playground doors.

McC has a 'Quiet Dismissal'. All students are assigned a number that is unique to them. New students will be assigned a number. Returning students in grade 2-5 will have a similar number to last year, changing the first digit to new grade.
