The R.W. Creteau Regional Technology Center is proud to introduce Steven Robinson, a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience, as the new Precision Machining instructor.
Robinson boasts an impressive 38-year career with precision machining, where he worked on a diverse range of projects spanning aircraft, medical equipment, radar systems, computer technology, aircraft military components, nuclear reactors, and more.
Robinson's journey into precision machining began at Lynn Vocational School, where he pursued Machine Shop Studies for three years in a very similar program to the one he is now teaching.
When asked about his motivation for becoming an instructor, Robinson shared, "I needed and wanted a career change and wasn't quite sure where I was headed. I took a hiatus and cleared my head, and then I saw the job posting, which seemed like a perfect opportunity. From there everything fell into place and I've been off and running as an instructor ever since.”
The R.W. Creteau Regional Technology Center is excited to have Steven Robinson on board, and his wealth of knowledge and real-world experience in precision machining will undoubtedly benefit students seeking to excel in this field.
