Spaulding High School Shines with 43 Students at the N.H. Future Business Leaders of America’s Fall Leadership Workshop
Rochester School District, October 19, 2023: 43 Spaulding High School students attended the FBLA Fall Leadership Workshop earlier this month. This event, known for fostering leadership skills and character development, drew over 450 participants from various schools in N.H.
Created in 1937, FBLA is the largest business Career and Technical Student Organization in the world. The N.H. FBLA workshop, held annually at Camp Carpenter in Manchester, combines experiential learning, team building, and motivational sessions to empower young minds with the skills necessary to become leaders of tomorrow.
Spaulding High School's active participation was displayed in placing 1st the the N.H. Food Bank design contest and also 1st in the monetary donation. Overall, N.H. FBLA raised $1,700 for the N.H. Food Bank and donated 400 lbs of food.
Spaulding students will now begin to focus on completing activities for the N.H. State Officer projects, which include focus on suicide awareness, substainability, financial literacy, and helping others in need.
They will also be competing in April in a topic of their choice, such as Accounting, Business Management, Social Media Marketing, Personal Finance, Business Law, Journalism, Human Resource Management, Public Speaking, Business Math, Sports and Entertainment Management, Healthcare Administration, Community Service, and more.
