February is an exciting time at R.W. Creteau Regional Technical Center as they celebrate CTE Month, a month dedicated to recognizing the value and significance of career and technical education (CTE). At the R.W. Creteau Regional Technical Center, they offer 16 CTE programs and we believe that every student can thrive in these programs, and we encourage students at Spaulding to apply to all CTE programs that interest them.
This month, they will be actively engaging the community by posting fascinating facts and statistics about CTE on social media. They aim to share insights that underscore the importance of these programs and the success stories of our graduates.
A highlight of CTE Month is our District Wide Career Spirit Week, held from February 17th to February 21st. During this spirited week, students from grades K-12 will come together to spread career awareness and exploration. This collaborative effort creates a vibrant atmosphere where students can learn about various career paths and the opportunities available to them, reinforcing the importance of planning for their futures.
Additionally, CTE Ambassadors will be present in the cafeteria throughout the month. These ambassadors will help promote CTE, sharing their experiences and the benefits of participating in these invaluable programs.
